About Breanna
I am a Master of Science Mechanical Engineering student with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I have a solid foundation in math, science, and engineering concepts and I enjoy teaching and helping others. I am patient and empathetic in my teaching and I love celebrating the breakthroughs in understanding along the way. My math skills are kept sharp daily, as I am currently taking my final courses of my degree, where I spend over 50 hours a week between my thesis, coursework, and as a teaching assistant for a third-year mechanical engineering class. I have strong leadership abilities from various club involvements and internships over my university experience, including being superstructure executive for UofC's Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race team, fuselage team lead for Schulich AeroDesign, 1 of 6 members of a VTOL drone capstone project, a pipeline integrity intern at ATCO Gas for 12 months, and 3 consecutive summer internships in a roofing shingle factory, IKO Industries. Outside of these, I am a part-time climbing instructor and a passionate climber, skier, and hiker/backpacker!
