About Micah
Engineering has long been my life's passion, but my grades were below the bar for entry back before I applied. I had to work hard at maths and physics, and hired a tutor to help me towards my goals. I believe that struggling through school made me a better tutor. Difficult subjects can feel overwhelming and impossible, especially in a classroom environment where teaching isn't tailored to a student's specific needs. Sometimes all it takes is some patience, practice, and a fresh perspective on a problem in order to solve it and move forward.

I have 5 years of experience tutoring both online and in-person in various curricula including IB, A-Levels, GCSE, IGCSE, KS3-4, and specialist grammar school courses. My approach to tuition prioritises developing a relationship with the student to better understand their specific learning style and needs, and to create a more engaging and comfortable environment. Most of my experience has been in Maths, Physics and English, but I am open to providing support in other subjects if needed. Throughout my 5 years I have taught students as young as 8 and as old as 18, and I am trained in administering assistance to SEN individuals, particularly those afflicted with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism.
