About Mary-Katherine
Hello! I'm Mary-Katherine Norrington, a dedicated tutor with a background in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Kennesaw State University (Degree In-Progress - December 2027). Graduated from Collins Hill High School in 2020. Having worked at engineering firms across the East Coast, I bring real-world industry experience directly to my students. I also own my own mobile makerspace, where I assist community members in understanding the art of product development from start to finish. I help students master complex concepts in Calculus and Physics by breaking down difficult material into actionable, easy-to-understand steps to build both competence and confidence. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and adapted to the needs of the students. A pre-screening will be required before lessons begin to properly gauge what the student needs and what subject areas need to be addressed first before moving to future topics. This tutor has her own makerspace where she creates custom learning packages and ships them to the student to help them learn with tangible elements while being assisted online. These packages can be ordered before the lessons begin.
