About Isabella
I am a student who has been tutoring children and teenagers from 10 to 16 years old for 5 years, in mathematics, natural and life sciences, and languages. I have completed two French baccalaureates (equivalent to IB or A-levels) in economics and humanities, as well as in maths and life sciences (chemistry, biology and physics). Following my secondary education, I entered University College London to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree (I have now validated my first year).

I approach my teaching in an adaptive way as I first aim to identify my student’s strengths and use them as a framework for reducing their weaknesses ; I believe that any subject, be it a language or a science, should be simple and enjoyable to learn, and fulfilling that objective is easier when the student uses methods that they can already relate to and feel confident with. Once this first step is completed, the teaching/learning process progresses in a more conventional way, through practice questions, discussions of concepts, and exploration of real life applications.
