About Evelyn
My name is Evelyn and I am a mechanical engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. I have always had an interest in teaching. Mathematics has always been my best subject and I always enjoy trying to get others to understand the topics. I have teaching experience at Lavner Education as a STEM Instructor/Intern. I also tutor my peers as a pastime.

My tutoring can extend to Algebra, statistics, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, high school physics, and Physics I courses. I have plenty of experience teaching STEM subjects and know my way around all high school math courses as well as plenty of early college courses. I can tutor on a topic that hasn't been taught to the student yet or simply help go through practice problems and practice quizzes to understand material better. My preferred method of teaching is going through practice problems and helping the student along the problem-solving steps as well as try to help explain the *why* of how the math and science works out.
