About Joe
Math is the groundwork for everything you know. If you can understand what's going on mathematically, your understanding of the world around you will become incredibly more profound. Many high school teachers don't explain to you why the math you're learning is important, or what the mind-numbing calculations they assign you really do, but I can help both clarify the concepts, and inspire you to continue pursuing a mathematical understanding. (Or, if you just need help and don't care at all about math, I'm good for that too.)
Math did not come easy to me in high school, but I can share the techniques I learned to figure out why the concepts being taught in class work, and most importantly what they MEAN.

As a tutor I will:
- Break down the problem into easily understood parts.
- Be patient and not rush through the problems.
- Bring preparations for the next tutoring session to better suit the student's needs.
My qualifications:
- Graduated high school having completed AP Calculus AB.
- Pursuing a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, having completed coursework up to multivariable calculus.
- Though I have no formal teaching experience, I've tutored my little sister all throughout high school, she is a senior now.
- Both of my parents are high school teachers, I've learned teaching techniques from them and how to be patient with those you are teaching.
