About Yvette
I'm currently a mechanical engineering technician, during my final year I was mentoring first year mechanical engineering students and it was an amazing experience because not only was I able to assist the students but they also help me to always remember the basics which I had forgotten some of them. As a mentor I was not a teacher but more of a team leader, engaging with my mentees and exploring different approaches to different problems, was always the best learning tool not only for them but for me as well. This is the foundation I would like to continue with, as a tutor.
