About Arnav

I am a fourth-year Mechatronics engineering student at the prestigious McMaster University. I have been giving one-on-one lessons in orphanages and NGOs. I am well-versed with my concepts of physics, chemistry and math which allowed me to score a 96% overall in my high school back at home, in India.

About the lesson

There is only one way to teach, keeping it easy. Leading psychology studies prove how we tend to give up studying or focusing on a subject as soon as it gets complicated. We try to run away from it. Looking back on my high school experience, I have come to realize that this is nothing but true. Thus, I am very well aware how the mind of a 15-18 year old teenager works as soon as it is introduced to a heavy term. In my approach, I would like to introduce the topic from day-to-day examples instead of those in the textbook. The principle involved here being that experience teaches you more than reading and memorizing. Secondly, subjects like physics and chemistry are practical and vast. I strongly recommend not just reading questions, but actually solving them, giving each and every question time and then discussing it with me if you still don't get it. Try to feel what the question is asking you and devise a working plan for the same.
