About Laura
25-year-old medical student at the University of Manchester.
Highest level of qualification: Pharmacology BSc at University College London (2:1)
Since graduating I have worked with adults with autism and learning disabilities, tutored GCSE and A level science/maths and volunteered in hospitals in Uganda and Kenya. My background in pharmacology, mental health and public health has developed a true passion in science, which is why I thoroughly enjoy teaching others on these topics. It has also resulted in me pursuing a career in medicine.
For those wishing to study medicine or life sciences, I can also offer guidance with their personal statement and entrance exams.

I understand exams are a very stressful time, so I teach my classes in a very relaxed, informal manner. I also prepare past examination questions and notes (if necessary).
Having achieved A*, A* and A in maths, biology and chemistry A level respectively, I understand the best way to get the marks is to really practice the exam questions and understand exam technique.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic I will only be offering online tutorials.
