About Kartikey
I am a medical student, and have a passionate zeal towards teaching physiology, one of my favorite subjects at med school. It is completely out of passion and fascination towards the subject, that I am volunteering to teach. I passed my First Professional Examination with first division, with a brilliant score in Physiology, and am entering my Second Professional Year. I may not have a professional experience in teaching and tutoring, but have had enough informal experience to not just know and understand the needs of a student, but also catering to them. Being a student gives me an extra edge.

My approach towards a topic starts with hitting the most basic concept and then driving it to the highest level of my knowledge, step by step. I prefer interactive sessions, and believe in using teaching aids to enhance understanding. My teaching aids might include diagrams, flash cards, illustrations, animations, videos, photographs, mnemonics, etc. I simplify the terminologies using etymology (word origin) or meanings to make them learn and grasp faster. Illustrations help me make a student visualize the concepts easily. My approach is not a book-abiding one definitely, but I still prefer universally acclaimed authors and academicians.
