Hi there! I'm James, and I would love to help you become a better post-production video editor! My speciality lies in Final Cut Pro, a more advanced and one of the many industry standards of video editing, however, if you would prefer to be using Adobe Premiere Pro or iMovie (both iOS or Mac versions) I would still be happy to help you develop your skills!
I'm a firm believer in practical learning, so all of our lessons will be primary conducted this way. I may still help put in a bit of theory into there, but it will be done in a practical way - instead of inserting a word onto a PowerPoint presentation.
Lessons will be geared towards what you would like to focus on; whether that be sound design, titles, keyframing, cuts, colour correction and more. You decide what you want to work on, or if you're not sure what you want to improve in, we can have a chat to work that out!
The first lesson will consist of understanding where you are at, and so we can get to know each other. Once that's done, we'll head into the program (which may even occur in the first lesson).
