About Jeffrey
I was an employed Teaching Associate and tutor for Medical and Nursing courses for UTS; teaching a diverse number of science subjects within the biomedical field for 5 years.
I have recieved high satisfaction scores from student SFS scores, during my term teaching biomedical courses to undergraduate students at UTS.
I have published psychosocial and clinical peer-reviewed journal articles during my PhD candidature, and honours year (1st class)

For university courses - I describe my teaching style as principled-based learning.
I am experienced in tailoring my teaching methods to:
One-on-one support
Masterclasses for small groups
Classroom instruction
Laboratory demonstrations
When we meet we will:
1. Talk about the subject you're struggling with - or want to do very well in ;)
2. We run through an overview of the entire subject in a snapshot (snapshots are designed to be quick; and do not take up the entire lesson)
3. Then I give examples of how to comfortably understand the concepts you may struggle with within the topic discipline, and I will aim to provide enjoyable ways to keep it simple as possible.

Per 1hr rates can only be purchased at a maximum of 4 per person, before the 5hr/package price applies.
Rates can decrease or increase based on the learning program of the student or learning group/class.
E.g. 1 hour of the lesson, can be reserved for on-call/sms support - where if you are struggling urgently on a concept; you may contact me, and we can immediately work it out together, so that way you feel confident moving forward and you don't spend too much time panicking on one concept/lecture slide.
