About Nihal
I’m passionate about education, mentorship, and helping students reach their full potential. Teaching and learning are at the heart of my career, and I find real fulfilment in helping students gain understanding, confidence, and curiosity. My tutoring journey began during medical school, where I started teaching A-Level Biology and Chemistry and mentoring prospective medical students preparing for interviews and entrance exams. Since then, I’ve taught at both school and university level, combining my clinical expertise with a strong understanding of how students learn best. I’m a nerd at heart, and I love turning complex topics in biology, anatomy, and medicine into clear, logical, and engaging lessons. I’m fully invested in my students’ progress and tailor each session to their learning style — because I know that everyone learns differently. My students consistently give excellent feedback and have gone on to excel in exams, medical school interviews, and university assessments. I aim to make learning enjoyable, structured, and rewarding. I create a calm and supportive environment where no question is off limits, and students feel confident to think critically, ask questions, and achieve their very best.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on helping students build strong understanding before applying concepts to exam questions or clinical scenarios. I use visual explanations, active questioning, and real medical examples to make learning clear and engaging. No question is ever off limits — I encourage discussion and curiosity throughout every session. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the topic and student needs. Each class includes a short review of previous material, focused teaching, and applied practice to reinforce key points. I also provide summary notes and question practice for independent study.
