About Christine

Medical Doctor and passionate personal tutor. Qualifications: 1. MBBS; Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery -Imperial College London. (Distinction*; ranking top 10% on exam performance) 2. BSc; Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Sciences (First class with Honours). I offer tutoring lessons in Biology KS3, GCSE and A-level examinations. I also offer tutoring to help students with their medical school applications. I have +8 years experience working with student learners from 11+ exams to university level. I believe in a tailored approach to learning with developing learning tools, efficiency and aid understanding.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring lessons in Biology KS3, GCSE and A-level examinations. I have +8 years experience working with student learners from 11+ exams to university level. Memorising facts/concepts is hard, confusing and time consuming! Once something is understood, it does not need to be memorised! My approach to teaching is very much flexible and tailored to the student's needs and requests. I believe in a tailored approach to learning with developing personalised learning tools, working efficiently and aid understanding. I believe in setting learning goals for every lesson, regular self-evaluation and reflection. I also emphasise regular revision and exam techniques throughout my lessons. For every lesson: a Zoom link will be sent via Superprof/e-mail. I begin by sharing my screen, so that everything I draw/write can be seen on the student's screen too. My lessons aim to be very interactive, so I do ask students to keep their microphones switched on. At the end of every lesson, I encourage self evaluation and reflection to ensure learning objectives have been met. Cancellation policy: I ask that you give me at least 4 hours notice if you are unable to attend the lesson.
