About Brian

In addition to my experience as a tutor, I bring a wealth of experience as a student. I’ve tackled challenging concepts first as an engineering student, where I developed strong analytical thinking skills, and later as a medical student, where I learned to manage the extensive volume of information in my coursework. This journey has equipped me with a variety of effective study strategies that I’m eager to share with my students, helping them confidently navigate their academic challenges.

About the lesson

My goal is for students to excel in their current and future academic pursuits. I focus on identifying the most effective study methods for each student and encourage independent study.

Study Strategies: Lessons will include discussions on how our brains process information, recognizing when to memorize facts versus when to learn concepts, and exploring tools for quickly mastering material.

Homework: Students will receive targeted assignments to complete outside of our lessons, which we will review together. This collaborative approach allows us to focus our lesson time on the areas where students need the most support, maximizing productivity.

Goal Setting: Each lesson will include time for students to set goals and develop a personalized plan for their study sessions at home.
