About Rudolph

I am currently a MSc Bioinformatics student at UWC, recently graduated in BSc Medical science. I have been tutoring since 2013 when I was still I high school. I have tutored students in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng and now based in Western Cape. Most of my students were initially poor performers and produced good results in the subjects, university entrance results.

About the lesson

I began my tutoring career in high school when I started helping my peers in relatively difficult subjects. In my time at varsity I also taught some of my peers and then lower level students. I continued teaching high school students around the university and in 2016 I actually taught students in groups from various schools. I then took up an 8 week course on learning how to learn so that I can be able to actually teach my students how to learn. I don't think that they should continually be seeking help if they can be taught how to learn.
My teaching method is student specific. Different people learn differently although most learn by visual aids rather than listening so I try as much as I can to be as graphic as possible in my lessons. In addition I teach my learners spaced repetition and pomodoro learning such that they can learn any subject on their own once tutoring ends.
