About Charmy
I am a medical student and I really enjoy maths and science. I have received strong qualifications of 8/9s in all GCSEs and A/A*s in A-Levels of Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. I have always received so much joy in working with younger students through 2 years of tutoring in a range of subjects such as Maths, Chemistry, Biology, English and 11+ as well as 3 years of coaching cricket. I want to pass on my knowledge and skills and help students reach their goals. Their goals will also be mine and together we will work to achieve these!

After the first session of getting to know my student, I will set goals for the future sessions and create action plans honing in on their weaknesses and ensuring they feel confident in all topics. I believe practice is the key to mastering. I will provide them with practising questions in the areas they struggle with until they are confident in those areas. As a medical student, I have learnt many strategies on how to effectively study and will transfer these skills involving logical processing and memorisation with active recall to my students. I have an adequate skillset in communication to ensure they enjoy their sessions and feel comfortable to ask any questions and not afraid to make mistakes. I aim to run enjoyable and effective sessions to the minute!
