I am a Medical Student at Bart’s/QMUL who has experience in teaching GCSE Maths, English, and sciences in combined and triple science. Having achieved AAA at A-Level, it makes me quite knowledgeable in my field of science, which makes me a suitable tutor for you. My teaching style consists of reinforcing knowledge and testing of knowledge before attempting any questions. I also will do PowerPoints which I have made myself and questions which I have gathered or prepared by you - the student as well. For chemistry, topics like NMR and Organic Chemistry are challenging and take a huge chunk of Paper 2. Knowledge-based is mainly Paper 1 where scoring marks should be easy - so active recall is highly needed. Synoptic Knowledge is needed for Paper 3 and walkthrough of papers are necessary to develop the skills for that paper. Biology is a challenging A-Level and has a very specific mark scheme. It’s a content-heavy subject and especially those looking for the AQA specification teaching - you are in the right place. I have achieved close to an A* in A level biology and will be able to help out in the essay aspect. Maths is building a solid foundation of skills. The Pearson textbook from Edexcel is a great place to start. I will test students from these books as I have thoroughly covered these and questions from challenging question banks which are quite unknown to the public will be used. Maths is all about practice and that is what we will be doing.
