About Leah
I’m currently studying Medicine and achieved 4 A*s, and I’m now offering tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics.
I wanted to start teaching because I’ve seen how much of a difference the right approach can make. A lot of students struggle not because they’re not capable, but because they haven’t been shown how to properly approach exam questions or understand what examiners are looking for.
Having gone through it myself where I had gone from an E to an A* in year 13, I know how important exam technique is, especially in Maths and the Sciences. I want to help students build confidence, avoid common mistakes and anchoring that exam technique.

What I focus on most is exam technique, because that’s what really gets results in Maths and the Sciences. In sessions, we go through questions properly — looking at the question, identifying the command word, and understanding exactly what it’s asking for. Then we mark answers using the mark scheme and go through examiner reports to see where students usually lose marks, so you don’t make the same mistakes.
The goal is to help you write clear, exam-level answers and consistently pick up marks.
Even if there’s only a month left, there’s still plenty of time to improve a lot with the right approach.
