About Alexa
I am very professional and promote a quiet, respectful learning environment for all my mentees so that they may focus and concentrate appropriately without any distractions. I am a firm believer that education is like practicing to excel in any sport - one must dedicate themselves to their craft and show diligence and determination to accomplish their goals. Beyond a conducive learning environment, I am very personable and friendly and truly enjoy getting to know my mentees and all their wonderful, unique personalities. I am very flexible in my teaching methods and like to cater to each individual students' needs. I typically start by reviewing the content for the specified content, demonstrating how to attempt a problem, and then incorporating plenty of practice problems for the student to complete and develop mastery and confidence.
