About Jessie

Hi, I'm Jessie! I'm a medical student with a strong academic background in biology, anatomy, physiology, and other health sciences.

I've always been fascinated by how the human body works, and pursuing medicine has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of subjects I'm genuinely passionate about.

I know firsthand how challenging and overwhelming science courses can be, especially when you're trying to understand complicated concepts while keeping up with assignments and exams. Through my own academic journey, I've learned the importance of having a strong foundation, asking questions, and finding study methods that actually work.

I'm patient, approachable, and believe that learning should be a positive experience. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, even if they need something explained several different ways. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where students can build confidence in their abilities.

As someone who is still actively studying medicine, I understand the demands of academic life and the importance of effective study habits, time management, and exam preparation.

Whether you're struggling with a particular topic or simply want to strengthen your understanding, I'm committed to helping you reach your academic goals at a pace that works for you.

English

As a medical student, I've spent years studying complex science subjects, and I understand how challenging it can be when something just isn't clicking. My goal is to make learning easier, less overwhelming, and more enjoyable by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable explanations.

I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to each student's needs. I like to use diagrams, real-life examples, practice questions, and active recall techniques to help students understand the material rather than just memorize it.

A typical lesson starts with identifying what you're struggling with or what you'd like to focus on. From there, we'll work through the concepts together, go over examples, and finish with practice questions to make sure you're comfortable applying what you've learned. I also encourage questions throughout the lesson because I believe there is no such thing as a silly question!

What sets me apart is my medical education and my ability to connect foundational science concepts to real-world applications. I know firsthand how important it is to develop a strong understanding of the basics, especially when preparing for more advanced courses.

I offer tutoring in biology, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and related sciences for high school students, undergraduate students, and those preparing for health science programs.

Whether you're looking to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or build confidence in a difficult subject, I'm here to help you learn at your own pace in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
