About Alexandra
Hello, I am a medical student at Imperial College London, currently on a year out. For the last four years, I have gained a wealth of experience tutoring A level Biology and GCSE Sciences and Maths. I achieved A’s in A level Biology and Chemistry, an A* in Maths and an A in AS Physics.
As a medical student I have recent experience of the competitive medical school application processes. I can therefore offer advice to students considering this path on university selection, UCAS application, admissions tests (UKCAT score 2990, band 1; BMAT score 6.2, 5.2, 3.5A) and interviews.

I believe that everybody has their own unique learning style and I actively encourage this by adapting my tutoring style to the individual. I am also happy to share some of the study skills and revision advice that helped me throughout my A levels and time at university. I work with students to identify and address their weaker areas in the course, facilitating understanding as well as the necessary knowledge to achieve higher grades and promote greater interest in the subject. I also work on exam technique, another important component of exam success, by working through past paper questions with students and giving exam technique advice. I aim to work in a positive and encouraging way to build the confidence necessary for exam success.
