About Pearl
I am friendly and love to help others reach their full academic potential. I strongly believe everyone has the ability to succeed in what they do, with the right tools. I love to answer questions and encourage my students to keep asking! No question is a silly one :)
In my spare time, I love to go on hikes and play racquet sports, write songs, and spend time with loved ones.

I mainly tutor any of the 7 main HSFY papers as part of the Otago University course. I also tutor NCEA maths, statistics, chemistry and physics (Level 1, 2 or 3). Am happy to take anywhere from 1-3 hour sessions.
Learning to me is about becoming confident with foundational concepts rather than solely rote-learning material, in order to better one's overall understanding of a subject.
I am empathetic and consider myself adaptable to suit the needs of each and every person. I also share study skills individualised to each subject, to make learning time more efficient. I have experience tutoring for many years now, and it brings me great joy to see my students succeed.
