About Tinaye
I’m an experienced tutor- having taught in various capacities in the past 6 years. I've successfully supported my students helping them achieve their target grades, to win their place at their dream university. I've taught and provided mentoring to those applying to medical school; teaching my favourite subjects biology and chemistry whilst also supporting people to achieve high scores in the difficult UKCAT exam.
Teaching and learning are a big part of my personal approach to my degree. Medicine is rooted in biology and chemistry and helps keep me fresh on the key ideas and concepts required at GCSE and A level. Whether the Krebs cycle or balancing equations I’ve acquired the skills which I can impart onto you to get past those challenging exams.
I have an exemplary academic background having achieved A* and A’s in A-level and GCSE exams. Further to this I received 4 Interviews when applying to medical school and completed the UKCAT.
Outside of medicine I’m often found writing. Whether that’s editing the university magazine or a new piece of poetry. Otherwise I’m probably debating with my friends or on University debating circuit.

Hi my name is Tinaye I’m a 4th year medical student at the University of Liverpool.
We start by focusing on your weakness and gaps in your knowledge and work together to make them into strengths. My teaching style is all about developing life long skills which can deliver exams success and help my students to achieve ambitious target grades.
By using creative resources and a dynamic teaching style I’m able to help explain complicated concepts. Using video and real world examples we work through core concepts that are often difficult to understand. Sessions are interactive and engaging focusing on retention of knowledge and developing understanding.
Closer to exam time we work on building vital exam technique. We will make your revision strategy more effective using our sessions as opportunity to tackle the challenging topics and build important exam techniques.
