About Kevin
Hello, my name is Kevin and I graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology in 2022. Going into college, I knew I wanted to study neuroscience. For all 4 years of college, I conducted research with a neuroscience-related lab, leading to thousands of hours of lab experience and one journal publication. I also went into college knowing that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. As a pre-med, I had to learn how to study: my high school study techniques were not up to par, and developing the right way to study took some time. However, I eventually found a way for me to retain information and learn more easily.

I have a substantial tutoring history. I have tutored students in Organic Chemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and in MCAT prep before for over 150 hours. I am extremely knowledgeable in the subjects that I have listed above. Specifically, the MCAT is fresh in my mind, having just taken the exam in May of 2022. I have many study tips and tricks to ace the MCAT. I have learned the difference between doing well on standardized exams such as the MCAT versus classes, and want to spread that knowledge to my students. My last MCAT student raised her score from a 509 to a 519.
