About Ava
I have been playing the piano for almost 20 years, and I began teaching beginner lessons in 2015 under the training of my own piano teacher. I taught lessons for 7 years to 12 students between the ages of 5-17, some with no music knowledge and others that had already been playing piano for years. I also worked as a nanny for several of my students! I took a break from teaching during college, but now as a medical student, I am looking to start teaching again. I look forward to sharing my passion for music with you!

Hello! I am offering beginner to intermediate level piano lessons - students of all ages welcome, no previous piano knowledge required. I offer 30 minute lessons at the student's home once a week. I tailor my lesson plans to your individual goals and knowledge level to ensure you learn to play music from a variety of genres (classical, pop, jazz, etc.), learn sight reading and ear training skills, and more! My lessons incorporate teachings on reading sheet music, proper playing technique, general music theory, and learning to play music within your skill level.
