About Farhan

I am a fifth-year medical student at Brighton & Sussex Medical School with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences with Molecular & Translational Haematology from Imperial College London with a passion for teaching and mentoring. Aiming to apply for an MSc Medical Education to become a lecturer for Medicine after my medical studies, I have gathered scientifically proven methods that will help to ensure success in your studies.

In our first session, we will go through your study techniques and what works for you. I will use this to formulate a study plan over your chosen timeframe to aid in achieving your goals. I am also adaptable, so if you feel that the learning style is not working for you, I am happy to experiment so that you can gain the most out of your studies.

About the lesson

With experience in advanced medical education, I can provide lessons in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and French. For prospective medicine applicants, I can provide mentoring for personal statements and interviews.

My qualifications include a BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences with Molecular & Translational Haematology from Imperial College London, with A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and an AS Level in French. For Medicine, I attend Brighton & Sussex Medical School, rated top 10 for Medicine in the country. I have been involved with various interview courses with third-party companies as well as panels in Imperial College School of Medicine and Brighton & Sussex Medical School.

My personal statement and interview tutoring expertise is evidenced from helping students across the country to achieve offers from universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, QMUL, Imperial, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester, Brighton & Sussex, St. George's and Southampton.

I have also been involved in mentoring medical students in various disciplines, and have founded the mentoring scheme at my former sixth form.

With numerous years of experience and expertise surrounding knowledge and exam technique, I will ensure to help you achieve the grade you want to achieve for your GCSEs and, if you are a prospective Medicine applicant, medical school offers as well.
