About Amari
I am a third-year medical student with a strong academic foundation in the sciences and a proven ability to teach complex material clearly and professionally. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology (Pre-Med) from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, and I am currently completing my clinical training at Ross University School of Medicine.
My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and results-focused. I take the time to identify each student’s strengths and challenges, then tailor lessons to build understanding, confidence, and consistency. I emphasize clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and effective study and test-taking strategies drawn from my medical training.
I work with high school, college, and pre-medical students in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and math. I maintain a professional, reliable, and encouraging learning environment, with the goal of helping students not only improve their grades, but also develop the confidence and skills needed for long-term academic success.

My approach as a tutor is structured, clear, and results-driven. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of prior material and identification of problem areas, followed by focused concept teaching using diagrams, examples, and guided practice questions. I then reinforce learning with exam-style problems and end each session with a brief summary and a clear plan for independent study.
What sets me apart is my medical training and advanced science background, which allow me to teach from a deeper, clinical understanding while also sharing efficient study strategies, test-taking skills, and time-management techniques used in medical school. My lessons are ideal for high school, college, and pre-medical students taking biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, or math courses who want to improve grades, confidence, and long-term mastery of the material.
