About Amelia
Hello and thank you for reading my profile!
I am a medical student at the University of Bristol (UoB). I have a degree in Global Health, which I also studied at UoB.
Whilst my academic focus is Medicine, I have had a keen interest in Spanish since secondary school. I studied Spanish at A level, worked as an Au pair for three months in Spain, and more recently did a month long hospital placement in Peru.
For the last three years I have tutored Biology and Spanish. I have also mentored applicants to medical school, as I have a firm understanding of what constitutes an ideal candidate.
I am extremely friendly, encouraging, and optimistic. I am adaptable to all levels of understanding, but those lacking academic confidence will particularly benefit from my teaching style.
In my spare time I enjoy competitive running, open water swimming, and hiking. I also love attending 'Intercambio', to make friends with all the wonderful Spaniards living in Bristol!
