About Ethan
Hi! I’m Ethan, a college student with a strong interest in science and health-related subjects. I believe that learning becomes easier when lessons are explained clearly, patiently, and in a way that matches the student’s learning style.
As a tutor, I focus on making difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down into simple steps and using practical examples. I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes because I believe that understanding the “why” behind a concept is more important than simply memorizing an answer.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping my students become more confident in their studies. Whether you need help preparing for a quiz, reviewing a difficult lesson, or catching up on a topic you find challenging, I will do my best to provide a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop better study habits, understand their lessons, and become more confident learners.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching method is simple, interactive, and focused on understanding rather than memorizing. I first explain the topic using easy-to-understand words, then give examples and guide the student through practice questions. I also encourage students to ask questions anytime, especially when they are confused about a certain concept.
I adjust my teaching style depending on the student's learning pace and needs. For difficult topics, I break them down into smaller parts and use examples, comparisons, and step-by-step explanations to make them easier to understand.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson starts with a short review of what the student already knows. I then introduce the new topic and explain the important concepts step by step. After that, we work through examples together before moving to practice questions.
At the end of the lesson, I give a short review or quiz to check the student's understanding. We also identify which parts need more practice so that the next lesson can focus on those areas.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What sets me apart is my patience and my ability to make complicated topics feel less intimidating. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I don't rush through lessons just to finish the material. My goal is for the student to actually understand the topic and feel confident answering questions independently.
I also prefer using practical examples and simple explanations instead of relying only on technical definitions. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions because mistakes are part of learning.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are mainly for high school and college students who need additional help understanding their subjects. I can especially help students in science-related courses, including Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, and other introductory health-science subjects.
My lessons can be adapted for students who are preparing for quizzes and examinations, reviewing difficult lessons, catching up on missed topics, or simply looking for someone who can explain concepts in a clearer and easier way.
