About Yunuen
I am currently a student of the Medical Surgeon career at the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM (3rd semester). All my life I have been totally committed to studying and I love doing it. I attended high school at PREPA UNAM and from there I managed to enter the University. Currently in the career I am the official tutor of university colleagues in different areas: Academic Performance, Study Techniques, I support homework and I usually help make the topics easier to understand and memorize. Since I was 12 years old, I became interested in the performance of my classmates and helped people to read and write. I have always been interested in helping and focusing on how feelings and our thoughts can affect student performance. Since I was in high school, I have dedicated myself to teaching regularization classes to children from kindergarten through high school. My favorite subjects have always been Biological and Health Sciences, but in the same way I really like Mathematics, specifically algebra, Physics and everything related to Oral Expression / Spanish / Literature. Since I was in kindergarten I have taken English, so it could also help in the compression of tenses, conjugation of verbs, writing texts, etc. I am always willing to start researching the subject that the student has doubts in order to explain it in an understandable way. Because I know more than anyone how tedious a topic can become from the way a teacher explains. I like children a lot and when I deal with adolescents my intention is to create an environment of trust, so that more than as a tutor of school counseling, they consider me as a friend and thus I can help them in a comprehensive way in the psychological and therefore academic aspect, so that the results are optimal.

Generally, my advisory classes are based first of all on questioning the counselee about his way of studying, so that through this it is easier for me to know what strategies I will use to treat the student. I am very didactic and I like to use technology to facilitate learning, so the consultancies are carried out by: Teams or Zoom. And it depends on the subject in which advice is needed, it is how I will use various applications, videos, quizzes: Kahoot, Socrative, etc. My goal is to help in the resolution of tasks and various projects, in which sometimes we have no idea how to solve them or what to do to get a good grade.
