About Sam
I enjoy tutoring because it’s incredibly rewarding to see students develop confidence and independence in their learning. Helping someone unlock the reasoning behind concepts and watching them progress from uncertainty to mastery is genuinely fulfilling. I appreciate the opportunity to guide students in a way that builds their foundational skills and problem-solving abilities, equipping them with the tools to tackle challenges on their own. Tutoring also allows me to continually engage with subjects I’m passionate about, like math and physics, while sharing that passion and sparking curiosity in others. There’s something uniquely satisfying about making complex topics accessible and watching students’ excitement as they reach new levels of understanding.

I’m a private tutor specializing in high school math and physics, focusing on building a deep understanding of foundational concepts to empower students with the skills needed for tackling more complex problems. My teaching methodology involves breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, guiding students to understand the reasoning behind simpler questions so they can confidently approach advanced topics. Sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes, allowing ample time to introduce new concepts, practice problem-solving, and address any challenges. With a background in Engineering and Commerce at Monash University, I bring both analytical expertise and a tailored approach to each student’s unique learning style. My lessons cater to high school students aged 14 to 18 at various levels, whether they are solidifying foundational knowledge or preparing for exams.
