About Indyana
Hello! My name is Indyana and I have been studying music since the age of 5. I have graduated from both the VCA secondary school and the University of Melbourne. I have performed in well known venues such as Hamer Hall, Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne Recital Centre. Additionally, I have performed at the Port Fairy Folk Festival and I have toured with Harrison Storm in Europe and the UK as a violinist/backing vocalist (2024 and 2025).
Although I'm a violinist and violist, I am also a singer-songwriter and I love to write/release my own music. Because I am creative, as much as I am technical in my approach to teaching, I also love to bring a sense of play and fun to lessons.

The direction of your violin or viola lesson is completely in your hands. Whatever you're hoping to get out of it (whether it's for fun or to up your skills to be able to play at a performance level), I'm there for you.
General note: I was taught with the AMEB method of teaching, so I may resort to some of their syllabuses at times. I also enjoy taking a more holistic approach for people that are just doing music for fun, so we'll likely cover a range of different kinds of learning/music books.
I teach beginners-intermediate and ALL ages are welcome. Let's start your musical journey!
TEACHING DAY: Preferably a Saturday (but I might be able to arrange week nights after school or during the day on weekdays, dependent on your schedule/lifestyle).
