About Noah

I have a passion for math; not a day goes by where I don’t think about math. And with my love for math, I help students understand it and get better grades. Tutoring gives me purpose, and I’m determined to be the best tutor I can be. I’ve tutored countless students, and every single one has left my sessions feeling more confident in their mathematical abilities. Many claim that they’re “just not a math person”, and I want to help them realize their brains can always change and grow if we give them the right practice.

About the lesson

As a student myself, I understand it's hard to learn in a classroom where the entire class must share the one teacher’s attention. I am also a firm believer of the V.A.R. learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic), and most teachers cannot satisfy all their students’ styles at once. What sets me apart as a tutor is my dedication to appease my students’ learning styles. I embed visual aids in my lessons. I strive to make my points clear and concise. I also ensure that my students are practicing the content and getting hands-on. I target my lessons at high school students who struggle to learn in classrooms and to share their teacher’s attention; I ensure my students get a personalized learning experience and walk out learning something.
