About Lindsay

Ms. Lindsay Hopkins is a licensed piano teacher and a certified elementary teacher. Born in Edgewater, Maryland, Ms. Hopkins grew up in a musical family. During her childhood, she played piano and clarinet, was a school chorus and band member, and was a musical theater performer for many years. At Elon University, she studied piano and piano pedagogy under Mrs. Eden Esters Brown and Dr. Victoria Fischer-Faw. She received two bachelor’s degrees and was the first graduate of Elon’s piano pedagogy program. Following her graduation, Ms. Hopkins was an elementary teacher in Calvert County for four years. Students under her care showed high motivation to succeed, significant growth and academic achievement, and a passion for the learning experience. She earned her M.S. in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University in 2023. When not at the studio, Ms. Hopkins can be found boating, gaming, making pottery, or playing with her two bunnies, Bumi and Moki.
