About Dominique
Teaching exists because I find deep satisfaction in helping others build functional systems from scratch. 13 years of experience has taught me that the most effective way to learn code is through logical inquiry rather than simple rote memorization.
Having guided 140 students through C++, Java, and SQL and databases, I have seen how clean code practices can transform a messy project. I focus on debugging techniques, algorithms, APIs and backend basics to ensure you grasp the foundation. These skills will eventually help you navigate complex architecture with total confidence.

Conceptual understanding must always precede the act of writing syntax. Logic is the primary language of every successful developer. I utilize my MIT MSc Chemistry degree to bring a structured, scientific method to our coding sessions. We break down problems into manageable components while building your mini project from the ground up.
This hands-on process requires consistent effort and attention to detail. I expect you to engage with the material critically throughout our time together. We prioritize clean execution in every function. That is how real software is developed.
