About Kayla
I am a private music instructor that teaches the following instrumentation: piano, ukulele, guitar, and alto saxophone. I have been teaching for over 5 years, and I have been teaching music lessons online for 1 year due to COVID restrictions. I am qualified to teach RCM piano students up to Level 8, and I have my Bachelor of Music from Queen's University.

I tailor lessons to the interest and to the skills of my students to make music a more enjoyable experience rather than a chore. I incorporate musical games based on ear training, rhythm studies, note reading, and composition, while teaching classical and/or popular material.
