About Sara
As a Mercer University graduate and current MBA student, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my tutoring sessions. I am a native Spanish speaker and have served as a Mercer Spanish tutor and student tutor for the past four years, working with students from many different backgrounds and learning styles.

I have experience teaching both English and Spanish to non-native speakers, including elementary, middle school, and high school students. This has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and creative teaching strategies that make learning engaging and accessible. I believe that every student learns differently, and I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals.
My tutoring approach is supportive, encouraging, and structured. I focus on building confidence while strengthening reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive activities to help students truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.
