Tehila is very efficient with her time in tutoring us students. She is also very knowledgeable and teaches in a way that enlarges our understanding of how the language works, not just what letters make what sound to make what word. She is also very friendly and approachable when we dont understand something or have questions. Her communication is 10/10 from pre lesson emails to post lesson praise and often includes interesting links. I admit the homework was too hard for me but it wasn’t compulsory and I did not feel left behind or ostracised in any way by not doing the homework. I highly recommend Tehila if you want to learn the richness of the Hebrew language, how to speak it and how to read and write it. I especially loved her helpful hints of how to remember the sounds of vowels and some of the tricky constenants.

I have had the pleasure of being one of Tehias many students and continue to be one, as i have found her to be extremely considerate and patient with me as i learn new material each week. She takes the time to thoroughly explain things and in relatable way so I can grasp what is being taught. She has always taken the time to answer any questions i have had, despite some not even being directly related to the lesson. Being encouraged every step of the way has helped me to stay on track and grown my confidence in learning a new language as a dyslexic learner. I love having lesson in real time so i can engage with her and others when i am uncertain of the pronunciation or meaning of words. Having the follow up material lets me practice and revise the lesson in my own time, helping me to retain the information. Thank you Tehila You are an awesome teacher, i am very blessed !

I know Tehila from years ago when we attended the same church. It has been wonderful to get reacquainted again through learning Hebrew! Learning Hebrew has made me feel like a 5 year old again - but without any angst! That's because Tehila is so encouraging. She gently corrects when you get things wrong, is super available for help when you get stuck on your homework, gives great feedback, and is really enthusiastic! What more could you want in a teacher?

Tehila is a patient and very encouraging Hebrew teacher. She's passionate about her subject and gives lots of little tips to help you remember, as well as interesting anecdotes that make the language come to life. Tehila is very positive and cheerful and as a total beginner to Hebrew, her enthusiasm was just what I needed to get me off to a solid start in the Hebrew language!

I have been studying Hebrew with Tehila since Term 2, 2024. I have really enjoyed her style of teaching and her sense of humour. She is so encouraging and very available if one has any queries or doesn't understand something. Homework sheets are given out after every lesson which are optional.. but I have found them very helpful to make me think about what I have been learning and whether I have understood the rules of grammar as taught etc. It is really exciting now to be able to see a Hebrew word or hear some Hebrew and be able to recognise the words and understand what they mean.
