Meteorology PhD with over 15 years of Experience offering courses in Applied Math and Physics

Methodology

I welcome students of any age and background to explore applied mathematics and physics (a general topic, I know) in a "blended learning" style lesson. This style combines jumping in and writing programs with a more traditional lecture.

As a tutor/instructor my first priority is that ALL members of a given course are given the tools they need to keep up.

Background

have a PhD in Meteorology, a science that requires the application of math and physics to understand. I have been teaching and tutoring thousands of students in various related subjects since 2006. During this time I've received both departmental and University wide awards for student satisfaction. Students often thank me for explaining technical or complicated topics in an understandable manner -- a skill I picked up during my time researching best practices in education.
