About Cristina
I was born in Mexico and raised in the states. As a student in the American school system, I was placed in ESL and in Spanish classes to improve my English and maintain my Spanish. But one thing the school was not adding up. The Spanish taught in the states is not the same one we speak at home.
I am here to teach what is actually spoken in a Mexican household and within the community and professional work place.

I teach based on real life experiences. Presenting situations, topics, foods, music, dances, interactions and cultural differences to capture connections.
What sets me apart is, that I don't teach by the book. I teach based on where the student is presenting current difficulties. It could range from school topic, professions, social or personal agendas.
