About Alejandra

¡Hola amigo(a)! Conóceme un poquito (Get to know me a little) I hold a Bachelor's in Graphic Communication Design from Mexico, a Dental Administrator Certificate from BCIT, and I'm also certified as a Teacher Assistant for Special Needs through VCC. I've had the pleasure of working closely with students, patients, and customers, and currently, I’m engaged in a secondary school setting where I'm truly committed to students' learning journeys. With over 10 years of experience, I’d love to teach you my native language in a natural way at your own pace and from your own level—whether it’s in a library, a coffee shop, or online in the comfort of your own space… you choose! Anímate a dar el primer paso y practica español de una manera fácil y amigable! (Take the first step, and practice Spanish in an easy and friendly way!)

About the lesson

My class is your class so you choose the topic or subject of your interest. The start point depends on your level, age and needs. The first class is complementary and is to assess where you are and where you want to go!

Perfect! I had the pleasure of learning from Alejandra for 3 years. She was my first spanish teacher, and I didn't have a lot of confidence in the beginning. She is very friendly and encouraging, and always constructive when correcting errors. Whenever I had questions about grammar or vocabulary she gave clear explanations. We had many interesting conversations about a wide variety of topics that allowed me to explore new vocabulary and phrases in an organic way. I can proudly say I now speak spanish at an advanced level and I owe much of that to Alejandra. I'd recommend her to anyone looking to improve their spanish. Thanks Alejandra!
