About Micah

Hello! My name is Micah, and I'm an experienced tutor currently excelling as an honors student taking advanced classes. As someone who is still in school, I understand the challenges students face—both academically and emotionally. I’ve had the opportunity to tutor my peers at school and have developed a passion for helping others succeed. I know that mental blocks and stress can be just as much of a barrier to learning as the material itself, so I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel heard and understood. Whether it’s working through difficult assignments or simply building confidence, I am here to help students overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. As a former competitive cheerleader, I understand the value of dedication and perseverance, and I bring that same energy and commitment to my tutoring sessions. My goal is to not only help students improve their grades but also to make learning an enjoyable and empowering experience. Let’s tackle those tough subjects together!

About the lesson

I offer personalized tutoring in a range of subjects, from basic math to more advanced topics like trinomials. Whether you need help with understanding foundational concepts or tackling more complex problems, I’m here to assist! In science, I can guide you through subjects like the atmosphere, environmental science, and atomic theory, among others. I also provide support in English and History, depending on your grade level.

I offer both online and in-person lessons, with in-person tutoring available for those within a 20-30 minute drive. My lessons are tailored to meet your specific needs, focusing on your areas of difficulty. Whether you need help with a specific topic or broader academic support, I’m dedicated to helping you improve and succeed.

First lesson is always 30min + free. Prices can be lowered if you feel as needed or have any financial issues, and just need some genuine help! I charge $10-$15 an hour depending on certain aspects and what you need.
