About Jennifer
About Me
Hi! I’m a Biology tutor with a background in microbiology and a strong passion for helping students understand science in a way that actually makes sense. I know how overwhelming Biology can feel at times, so I focus on breaking things down and making them easier to grasp.
I’m patient, approachable, and I take my time to ensure my students are comfortable asking questions and fully understand each topic. I’ve worked with students at different levels, and I’m able to adjust my teaching style depending on what works best for you.
I’m very organized and committed to helping you achieve your goals. I want to assist in improving your grades, preparing for exams, or build a stronger foundation in Biology.

Teaching Methodology and Techniques
I like to keep my lessons simple, practical, and easy to follow. Biology can feel like a lot, so I break things down into smaller parts and use examples you can relate to. I also ask questions during the lesson to make sure you’re following, and I use diagrams and quick exercises to help things stick.
Typical Lesson Plan
We usually start with a quick recap of the last topic, then move into something new. I explain the concept step by step, using examples and diagrams where needed. After that, we go through questions together to test your understanding. I like to end with a short summary and sometimes a few practice questions you can try on your own.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I focus on making sure you actually understand what you’re learning, not just memorising it. I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I adjust my teaching style based on what works best for you. My goal is to make Biology less intimidating and more interesting.
