About Nneka
I am a great lover of education who earnestly thrives to see that not a single person around me lacks at least basic education with my mantra being 'TODAY'S READERS,TOMORROW'S LEADERS'.
I love to see people come together and have intelligent discussions about possibly everything and anything but this cannot happen without knowledge so the little I have I want to pass on. Strongly I know nobody is born daft or dumb, people only suffer from knowledge gap because they lack worthy tutors.
I put my mind into what I do and I don't stop until I see results. Joggling work with my studies, I still manage to make straight A's and I ensure my students don't fall short either - it is a passion to see people excel academically- I pull out the champion in my students.
IF I CAN EXCEL, YOU TOO CAN EXCEL!!!

For all groups of students I encounter, my first approach is student-centred or constructive in which case I ensure that my students are fully engaged in the lesson, hence, grabbing whatever is being learnt.
When I work with kids (kindergarten- class 3), I employ the Montessori method where I use pictures and activities to get their interests and attention and in the process they learn.
For Older students (Class 4 even to Undergraduate levels), I let them ask questions (make inquiries), this helps me know what they have learnt and also gives me a clue of how much they understand the subject matter. These questions then leads me to a personalized approach of teaching where I have to focus on the individual needs of the students based on my findings from the questions asked by them.
For optimum attention and best results, I don't let a lecture exceed 1hour and then 15 extra minutes for questions and answers.
I am currently studying for my second degrees in Environmental and Public Health Microbiology and MBA (running both degrees concurrently) and I have been teaching Elementary students from my secondary school days. I have been a marker with WAEC and NECO since my undergraduate days and I did my NYSC with Ebonyi State University (Microbiology department) where I helped out with tutorial for some of the 200L courses.
For the subject I indicated, I can conveniently tutor students from kindergarten to University levels.
I believe the AIM OF PASSING KNOWLEDGE SHOULDN'T BE TO TEACH BUT TO MAKE PEOPLE LEARN and this is my focus.
