About Freya
I am a dedicated Microsoft Excel tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, mainly working with college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 300–350 students, helping them improve their academic performance and practical skills. My students have been able to complete assignments with confidence, create strong projects, and prepare better for job opportunities.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learning should be clear, practical, and useful in real life. I focus on making Excel easy to understand by breaking down complex topics into small, simple steps. I use real-life examples so students can see how Excel is used in areas like data analysis, reporting, budgeting, and presentations. I also support students with PowerPoint, Word, and note preparation to help them stay organized and complete their work effectively.
I believe in being patient, supportive, and honest in my teaching. I encourage students to ask questions and think independently. I also focus on problem-solving skills so students can handle tasks on their own with confidence. One of my key achievements is consistently helping a large number of students improve their skills from basic to advanced levels.
My goal is to help every student become confident in using Excel for both academic and professional success.

My teaching approach for Microsoft Excel is practical, simple, and focused on real understanding. I believe students learn best when they see how Excel is used in real life, so I include real-life examples and case studies in every session. This helps students connect concepts with actual tasks like budgeting, data analysis, reporting, and business decision-making.
I cover Excel step by step, starting from basics like formulas, formatting, and data entry, and then moving to advanced topics such as functions, charts, PivotTables, dashboards, and data analysis tools. I also include related areas like PowerPoint for presenting data, Word for report creation, and note preparation to keep learning organized. For students preparing for jobs, I include practical tasks used in workplaces to build confidence and skills.
My teaching style is based on integrity and clear communication. I make sure students understand each concept before moving ahead. I encourage collaboration by involving students in discussions and problem-solving activities. I also promote creativity by allowing students to explore different ways to solve problems using Excel.
I focus strongly on problem-solving, giving students real tasks and assignments to practice. I support them in completing assignments and improving their performance. My goal is to make students independent, confident, and ready to use Excel effectively in academics and professional life.
