I Understand the student's level of understanding: Before starting the session, it's important to understand the student's level of understanding of the subject. This will help the student in planning the right approach to teach them.
A great tutor understands that teaching techniques and methods may vary from one student to another. They can adjust their approaches and techniques as needed to engage and inspire their students.
What my typical lesson plan is?
Wrap-Up (5 minutes):
The tutor will briefly summarize the key concepts of the lesson, highlighting how the lesson's material connects with real-world applications. The tutor will ask the student if they have any questions and provide guidance about resources for further practice or study.
Homework (5 minutes):
The tutor will assign homework consisting of five practice problems on the topic of the day. They will remind the student to review the examples and explanations provided during the lesson before attempting to complete the set of problems.
Assessment (5 minutes):
The tutor will use the student's worksheet and homework to assess their understanding of the material and plan the next lesson. If the student shows mastery, the tutor can proceed to the next topic. If not, the tutor will plan for more practice sessions for the same topic.
