About Stacey
I have a master's degree in middle school math and science, although I have tutored all subjects and ages ranging from 5-18. I am also certified and experienced in working with a variety of learning and behavioral differences, including autism, ADHD, ADD, oppositional defiance, and executive functioning issues. I have taught in public schools, private schools, Orthodox schools, and home-school environment.

I believe in giving examples then doing lots of problems together before trying problems independently. I also like to make it fun with fun riddle-type worksheets and internet games. I also monitor behavior, focus, and frustration and adjust as needed. I understand that each student is an individual and learns differently. How many problems, how long the lesson, the amount of assistance, the parameters, structure, and even rewards (if helpful) are all unique to each student and his/her needs.
