I am a veteran middle school math teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade math, including Algebra I. I have worked with students who range from performing a few years below grade level to being ready to take on a high school level algebra class in 7th or 8th grade.

I believe in an inquiry-based approach that helps students strengthen their reasoning skills while applying mathematics to relevant, real-world situations. Lessons will be individualized based on the student's areas of strength and challenge and can be adapted to different learning styles. Whether the student is performing below grade level and needs skill remediation, or working above grade level and is looking for a higher level of content, I am able to adjust lessons for all students working on standards from 4th - 9th grade.
