About Carinne

For the past 15 years, I have taught math in the classroom and online. I became a math teacher because math was hard for me and even through college, I never really had a teacher that could bring math down my level. I decided I am going to be that teacher! I want to be the one that understands what my students struggle with and it has been my passion to go back and fill in some of the holes and the gaps of my student's conceptual knowledge. By doing this, students begin to see how much math builds upon itself and when the foundation is poor, it is hard for them to learn more. I am able to go back and help them fix a poorly constructed foundation by making math fun and applicable to their lives. I can help your child fall in love with math!

About the lesson

Does your child HATE math? After working with me my students, have a strong mathematical foundation and begin to LOVE math! It is hard to continue to learn higher math when there are holes in the foundation. Most students struggle in math because they do not have conceptual knowledge of what they are learning because their foundation was poorly built. I CAN HELP WITH THIS! And I can help your child begin to LOVE math!
